Dr Julia Bianco
BHlthSc, BAppSc(Chiro)Dr Julia is a graduate of RMIT University with a double degree in Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Chiropractic) and is a member of the Australian Chiropractic Association. Julia is passionate about communicating the chiropractic message of spinal health and its impact on greater health. She enjoys watching families thrive in creating an educational environment that empowers people to ask great questions about their health. Julia is excited about encouraging others to take an active role in improving their wellbeing.
Dr Julia has particular interest in the benefits of chiropractic care during pregnancy, and in managing neck pain, headaches and migraines. She values the multimodal advantage chiropractic can offer; not only in relation to spinal health, but also with common conditions of the extremities (e.g. shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle, foot). Julia incorporates a balance between joint, muscle and nervous system in her care and management, whilst also appreciating the value sometimes simple/noninvasive rehabilitative tools that can support treatment outcomes and goals.
Before deciding to embark on her studies (and during her studies), Julia had the opportunity of working in a tertiary hospital in Melbourne for many specialists in different sectors of healthcare (e.g. obstetrics, gynaecology, fertility, maternal fetal medicine). Her 8 years here working behind the desk is where she developed an understanding, and now an appreciation for the significance of a multidisciplinary team. Dr Julia takes pride in being part of your team, and contributing to your health journey!
Julia incorporates a range of Chiropractic techniques including manual, low force and mobilisation skills. Each offers safe and gentle chiropractic adjustments that are appropriate in all stages of life, and individualised to consider preexisting conditions. Dr Julia supports a collaborative space in deciding which techniques offer the most comfort – no question is ever too silly!
